This is for Chris from PCS, i found a online program called editgrid and its free.http://www.editgrid.com/ What you do is sign up and upload the spreadsheet and then edit it. Once your happy with the changes, you highlight the area you want to show, Click on publish -> Cell/Region
Copy the main body text and paste it into your blog area. Example below.
I have gone one step further by putting a new page in so people can just tab to it and view the spreadsheet and it doesn't go missing on the posts.
Also anytime you do changes on the editgrid it automatically updates it on your link. It bloody awesome.
Thanks, do you know how to add as a gadget in the left column of PCS blog? the only way I can see is to link to a URL which I can't do. the gadget will remain top left rather than 'date' and go off the current page. I havent found a spreadsheet gadget yet.
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm at it, do you know how to search for blogs by subject? I'm also interested in linking bike related blogs rather than the 'next blog' being a random assortment of scrapbooking blogs!
ReplyDeletethe only thing i can think of is add another page like i have done and have it in there.
